When we visited Plateau State, Nigeria last November, the evidence we saw that extremist groups are specifically targeting Christians communities in Nigeria's Middle Belt was unmistakable.
We found burnt walls where sanctuaries once stood, pastors' homes reduced to rubble, and congregations gathered under the open sky because their roofs had been destroyed.

Unwilling to let persecution win, we got to work.
Our supporters responded quickly, and just four months later, the lovingkindness of our Church family is unmistakable.
Check out this video for an encouraging personal update on these restoration efforts in Nigeria.
The last time we visited *Pastor Mark's church in this video, only four walls stood under an open sky after a Fulani attack.
Just four months later, the church has a new roof and is almost ready for its walls to be filled with worship again.
So far, 2 of the 7 churches and 5 of the 10 homes covered by this project are nearly complete and the rest will be finished in the next few weeks.
Without our supporters, these buildings would likely still be standing empty – a constant reminder of what the enemy tried to destroy.
But with the quick action of our Church family, these buildings now stand as testimony to the power and victory of the Lord.

Please keep praying for Pastor Mark and countless other pastors and congregations across Plateau State who keep faith alive even under relentless persecution.
And keep sharing their stories. The world needs to know what's happening in Nigeria – and what's possible when we take care of each other.
