Boko Haram thought they could destroy the churches in Plateau State, Nigeria, by burning the buildings – but they were wrong.
Believers gathered in the ruins, wrapped in faith. They prayed where the sanctuary used to stand. They sang hymns in the ashes. 🙏
And then they started rebuilding.
The Church is not the building. The Church is the people. And your generosity is helping them rebuild the place where they gather – and it let them know that they are remembered, and loved.
A church building isn’t just construction. It’s a declaration: Persecution tried to silence us. But we’re still here. And we will worship.
