Christian persecution in Syria Mar elias attack

On June 22, 2025, a suicide bomber attacked believers in the middle of service Mar Elias Church in Syria, killing at least 24 believers and injuring 54. This recent attack underscores the reality Christians face in Syria.

What are my donations used for?

Your donation goes toward relief efforts where needed most. Among those whom your gifts support in Syria are 30 Christian children survivors of Mar Elias who will receive trauma care, 3 Christians who will restart their small businesses, 150-200 families who will get winterization kits, 3,000 Christians who will receive hygiene and food kits, and 875 households who will receive holiday packages. 

Can I designate a gift to Syria?

At this time, we don’t have a way to designate funds for Syria. Any gifts given on this page will go where needed most, including projects in Syria. We work with our trusted field partners to ensure funds are allocated to significant, urgent needs.

Are my gifts tax deductible?
