Join us in prayer for the persecuted church as you meditate on God’s work and the meaning of Easter using GCR’s Easter devotional. Learn from biblical believers like Mary Magdalene and modern-day persecuted Christians such as Suzanne and Suman, who found hope and strength through their unwavering trust in God.

On the first Easter, a few of Jesus’ followers visited His tomb, expecting to find His lifeless body. Instead, these women encountered two angels, who told them, according to Luke 24:5-7,“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” These women quickly shared the miracle of Jesus’ resurrection with their fellow Christ-followers.
Today, we are invited to rejoice alongside our Christian brothers and sisters, including those who are persecuted for their faith, as we celebrate the same Good News.
