He is risen!

April 6, 2023 by Abigail Hart in Persecution updates

As you gather to celebrate the resurrection with your family and friends, we hope you are filled with a renewed sense of joy and hope. For He is risen, indeed!

Though your day will likely be busy, please remember your persecuted brothers and sisters worldwide. So many of them must quietly celebrate the resurrection in secret—behind locked doors and shuttered windows. Why? Because in their villages and towns, uttering the name of Jesus can be deadly.

Will you hold your persecuted family in prayer this Easter Sunday? Ask God to fill their hearts with wonder as they contemplate Jesus’ victory over sin and the grave.

In keeping with Jeremiah 29:11, call on the Lord to prosper them in the face of adversity.

In addition, if you feel led, you can also make a special, one-time gift today to show our hurting family they’re never alone. Because of generous supporters like you, we’ve been able supply one of our partners in Pakistan with 158 food kits to help widows celebrate Easter. To help persecuted Christians in a similar way across the globe, you can make a donation by clicking here.

Once again, enjoy this monumental day of the year as the Body of Christ rejoices over the empty tomb. He is risen!
