Curry’s vision for Global Christian Relief (GCR) is to create the most extensive, covert network serving persecuted Christians, from North Korea and Iran to Afghanistan and Sudan, and anywhere God’s people are threatened, vulnerable or alone.

Curry has traveled extensively to the field to encourage those living under persecution and to support the work of providing relief. He has traveled throughout Asia, Africa and the Middle East to meet with victims of religious oppression and to hear their stories. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News, and the Christian Broadcasting Network, among others. He is a contributor to Christianity Today, The Christian Post, Religion News Service and Huffington Post.

In 2022, Curry was appointed to serve as a Commissioner on the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), an independent, bipartisan, federal government entity established by Congress to monitor, analyze and report on religious freedom abroad; in 2024, Curry completed his term as a Commissioner. He is also the host of the Profile in Faith podcast, which is dedicated to uncovering the enduring stories of Christian martyrs.

Prior to his work addressing the needs of persecuted Christians, Curry served as CEO and president at organizations that serve homeless and neglected children in several countries, including India and Peru.

Curry holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwest University in Seattle and an honorary doctorate of humane letters from Faith Evangelical College and Seminary in Tacoma, Washington. He is based in Southern California.
