Ali Farajullayev is a worship pastor from Yalova, a coastal town in Turkey. After the earthquakes hit, he traveled to the impacted areas to help in any way he could. He found an opportunity building sheds for the countless who have become homeless and are sleeping with their families on the streets.
“We came here to build shelters for the people,” he says. “Yesterday, we built sheds for three families. They all had children who were sleeping on the street. After that, we aim to build even more sheds.”
Watch and listen as Ali shares what it’s like to help those in deepest need and be a glimmer of hope in a country reeling in darkness.
